These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GrantHunt US website and services (the "Service"), operated by Granthunt ("GrantHunt US", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. About GrantHunt US

GrantHunt US is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that aggregates, summarizes, and delivers grant opportunities from various public and private sources for informational purposes only.

GrantHunt US does not provide legal, financial, or grant-writing advice and does not guarantee funding outcomes.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms
  • Use the Service for lawful purposes only

The Service is intended for users located in the United States.

3. Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account

3.2 Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Use the Service fraudulently or unlawfully
  • Abuse or interfere with the Service

We may do so with or without prior notice where legally permitted.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Beta Access & Pricing

GrantHunt US may offer beta access plans, including early-user pricing or lifetime discounts.

If you subscribe to a beta plan with a lifetime discount, that price will remain valid for as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

If you cancel your subscription, lifetime pricing may not be reinstated.

4.2 Free Trials

GrantHunt US may offer a free trial that allows you to access the Service for a limited period without providing payment details.

If no payment method is provided during the free trial:

  • You will not be charged automatically when the trial ends
  • Your access to paid features will expire at the end of the trial period
  • You must actively choose to upgrade to a paid subscription to continue using paid features

Providing payment information and upgrading to a paid plan is optional and must be initiated by you.

4.3 Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method according to your plan.

Prices are shown exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.

4.4 Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access until the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

5. No Guarantees or Warranties

GrantHunt US provides access to grant information "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee that:

  • You will qualify for any grant
  • You will receive funding
  • Grant information is always complete, current, or error-free

You are solely responsible for reviewing official grant sources and determining eligibility before applying.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content
  • Use the Service to violate laws or regulations
  • Attempt to access systems or data without authorization
  • Interfere with the performance or security of the Service

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and materials provided through the Service are owned by or licensed to Granthunt and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business or organizational purposes only.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third parties.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Granthunt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Granthunt from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your misuse of grant information

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process personal data.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

We may also update these Terms. If changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
